Planned outage in areas of Swords to facilitate essential works

Uisce Éireann is advising of a planned water outage which may impact customers in parts of Swords from 11am to 4pm on Tuesday, 03 February. The outage is necessary to facilitate essential works to the water network.

Customers in Pinnockhill, Airside Retail Park, Nevinstown West, Fosterstown South and surrounding areas may experience some disruption to their supply. 

Uisce Éireann’s Sinéad Kennedy said, “We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. We would like to thank our customers in advance for their patience and co-operation while we carry out these essential works on the network.”

Following the completion of the works, it can take two to three hours for the normal water supply to return as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.
