Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water to Ahascragh following an issue at the water treatment plant supplying the area overnight, and customers in the area may experience water outages or reduced water pressure as a result.

Uisce Éireann’s Gerard Healy explained that crews have been mobilised and will be carrying out repairs this morning. He expects them to have work completed by 12pm and a normal water supply restored to customers this afternoon.

“We know the inconvenience that an unplanned outage like this one in Ahascragh causes for our customers, but I can assure all those affected that our crews are working as quickly as they can to restore normal supply.”
